PURPOSE:To make key operations easier by operating controllably the same key for movement of a printing head and a cursor by providing two functions for an arrow-mark key according to the presence of absence of display output in a data controller with a displayer. CONSTITUTION:After an input guidance is designated by input command from a keyboard 2, when key input is made, input letters are displayed on a displayer 3. When left and right-handed arrow-mark keys 7 and 8 are operated when display is made on the displayer 3, the cursor of the displayer 3 can be controllably moved bilaterally. When display data have line feeding code, display can be changed to previous line or next line when operating upper and lower allow- mark keys 9 and 10. When the keys 7 and 8 are operated under the condition of no display, a carriage motor is actuated and a printing head is moved bilaterally. Also, when operating the keys 9 and 10, papers are front-fed or back-fed. By operating CTRL key 12 and F-key, forcible control on the movement of the printing head and feeding of papers is permitted. |
