A description is given of a soft attachment for spectacles, which can be joined in a form-locking fashion to the spectacle frame. The attachment has a carrier member consisting of a hard elastic material and which is sheathed with a soft material, except for the surfaces which make the form-locking joint with the spectacle frame. It is possible by means of this soft attachment according to the invention to convert normal spectacles into safety spectacles.
