PURPOSE:To increase mounting density by stacking plural tri-plate lines in the thickness direction and connecting respective inner conductors through conductors made by through-hole plating to constitute a branch line coupler in three dimensions. CONSTITUTION:In the branch line coupler consisting of a three-dimensional circuit, respective inner conductors 2a, 2b of two tri-plate lines are connected through the conductors 4c made by the through-hole plating at positions 6a, 7a separated by lambdag1/4 each other. The conductors 4c are surrounded by conductors connecting conductive patterns 5a surrounding said positions 6a, 7a and constituted equivalently to a coaxial line. The length of the equivalent coaxial line can be set up to lambdag/4 by selecting the specific inductive capacity of substrates 1a,...,1c and its impedance can be set up to a required value by selecting the size of the equivalent coaxial line, so that required characteristics is obtained. |
