PURPOSE:To obtain a chemical decorative forming wood suitable for industrial parts-material, etc. which is excellent in cross-linking and thermoplastic property by reacting the compound containing epoxy group onto the esterified wooden chip containing carboxyl group in which dibasic acid anhydride is added to the OH in the wooden chip. CONSTITUTION:(B) 5-200wt% dibasic acid anhydride (e.g. maleic anhydride, etc.) is preferably added to (A) dried wooden chips, whereby the esterified wooden chips containing the carboxyl group with e.g. 5-120wt% additional ratio of dibasic acid anhydride is obtained. Next, (C) the compound containing two or more epoxy groups in a molecule (e.g. bisphenol type epoxy compound, etc.) is reacted onto the wooden chips at the rate of 0.3-1.5 equivalent of epoxy group for one equivalent of the carboxyl group in the wooden chips. Thus, the desired objective wooden chip is obtained. EFFECT:The excellent formed product stable for water and humidity, even at high temperature, may be obtained. |
