PURPOSE:To prevent feeling of disorder at the operation of a shift lever by using a harder rubber of an upper end and a lower end of a vibrationproof rubber in comparison with the hardness of the rubber of other parts. CONSTITUTION:The part corresponding to the upper end part 5a and the lower end part 5b of the vibrationproof rubber 2 of a lower lever 1b is formed respectively as a large diameter, the thickness of rubber 2 corresponding to the large diameter parts 6a, 6b is decreased remarkably in comparison with the other part, the hardness of the rubber of the upper end part 5a and the lower end part 5b is increased so as to improve locally the rigidity. Thus, only the larger diameter parts 2a, 2b of the rubber 2 contact the lever 1a at the normal state where no operating force is activated to an upper lever 1a, the minute vibration and metallic sound transmitted from the transmission to the lever 1b are absorbed by the contact position so as to attain the substantial vibrationproof and sound shut effect. When the operating force is exerted, since the entire deflection of the rubber 2 is limited by the stopper effect of the upper end part 5a and the lower end part 5b of the rubber 2, the feeling of disorder at the operation of the lever is avoided. |
