PURPOSE:To enable to improve the heat exchanging efficiency by obstructing an electric discharging phenomenon by a method wherein an electrode is provided opposing to a condensing heat transferring surface, and applied by a high electric voltage, the electrode is covered with a thin film-shaped insulating material having high dielectric breakdown voltage. CONSTITUTION:By applying a high electric voltage between a line-shaped electrode 2 and a heat transferring surface 1, the interface of a liquid film 5 formed on the heat transferring surface 1 is drawn to the line-shaped electrode 2. The interface of the liquid film 5 is contacted to the line-shaped electrode 2, then flowed down along the line-shaped electrode 2. In this case, even when a condensed liquid is like a Freon and the like having relatively low electric conductivity, an equivalent electric conductivity is made extremely higher caused by containing a very small amount of water in the condensed liquid, thereby, a spark is generated between the heat transferring surface 1 and the line-shaped electrode 2. By covering the linear electrode 2 with an insulating film 4, even when a very small amount of water is contained in the condensed liquid, the spark does not generate. The short-circuit at the contact between each electrode caused by the vibration in a condenser and on a condensing surface, and caused by the vibration of the linear electrode 2 can be prevented by the insulating film 4. Therefore, the initial performance of a condensing type heat exchanger can be maintained over long duration. |
