PURPOSE:To provide the titled writing utensil such as a crayon which enables sublimation/evaporation transfer by infrared rays on an ordinary paper to obtain a transferred image in which difference in color density is small, wherein an infrared absorbing substance is blended into a drawing material comprising a sublimable or evaporable dye. CONSTITUTION:For example, in the case of a soild drawing material such as a crayon, a sublimable or evaporable dye (A), e.g., a disperse dye, a binder (B), e.g., paraffin wax, a filler pigment, (C), e.g., calcium carbonate, and an infrared absorbing substance (D), e.g., carbon black, are mixed with each other, preferably, in amounts of 5-30 parts of component (A), 30-90 parts of component (B), 1-40 parts of component (C) and 0.1-30 parts of component (D), to obtain the objective writing utensil. |
