<p>PURPOSE:To provide a water based ink which has good quality, hardly dries up even when used over a long period of time, gives a smooth writing flow rate under low load and has followability capable of withstanding high-speed writing, containing glimes as a solvent. CONSTITUTION:In a water ink compsn. contg. an org. solvent and a water-soluble dye, a glime (e.g.diethylene glycol dimethyl ethyl or triethylene glycol dimethyl ether) alone or a mixture thereof with other solvent is used as the org. solvent component. The glimes are low-viscosity solvents having a viscosity of 10cP or below at 20 deg.C, can well dissolve dyes and have a high evaporation rate (high-boiling solvent). Hence, an ink compsn. unsing this solvent hardly dries up even when used over a long period of time, gives a smooth writing flow rate under low load and can be written at a high speed.</p> |
