PURPOSE:To condition ground to have high strength, excellent water stopping property and durability comparable to that of cement, by pouring a specified grout into ground which contains free Ca ion. CONSTITUTION:A cement component, Ca(OH)2 or Ca salt is poured into ground so that the gound may contain free Ca ion. Then a grout with a viscosity of 5- 50cps which is an aqueous soln. of a compd. of formula, M2O.nSiO2 (where M is a univalent alkali metal) having an SiO2/M2O molar ratio of 1.5-2.5 and a non-colloidal silica content of 60% or higher prepd. by adding a univalent alkali metal hydroxide for ionization and activation of silicic acid. is poured into the ground so that it may be in contact with the free Ca ion to form crystals of xCaO.ySiO2.zH2O in the ground. |
