PURPOSE:To remove a wire for transmitting signals and to improve the portability of an arm television by providing the titled device with the 1st device transmitting an intermediate frequency output and the 2nd device receiving and displaying the transmitted intermediate frequency output. CONSTITUTION:When television waves are inputted to the 1st antenna 1, channel selection, high frequency amplification, mixing and detection are executed by a tuner 2 and an IF output is amplified at its electric power and transmitted from the 2nd antenna. The transmitted output is received by the 3rd antenna 6, and separated and amplified into a voice signal 12 and a composite video signal 8 by a receiving part. On the basis of the composite video signal 8, a display circuit 9 outputs a driving output for display to a display device 11 to display the picture of the television and a sound circuit 13 power-amplifies the voice signal and supplies the amplified signal to a sound device (speaker) 15. Consequently, it is unnecessary to use a cable for transmitting signals between the device receiving television signals and the device displaying the received signals, so that portability is improved.
