A method of simultaneously replenishing with solvent a plurality of cylinders, which are filled with acetylene and a solvent therefor, wherein, an auxiliary gas, which is essentially insoluble in the solvent for the acetylene, is simultaneously fed into all the cylinders filled with acetylene and the solvent, and the solvent is then simultaneously fed into all the cylinders filled with acetylene, solvent and auxiliary gas, characterised in that during the introducting of the auxiliary gas, the cylinders filled with acetylene and solvent, are at a temperature which lies above ambient temperature.</p> |
