PURPOSE:To make it easy to supply an electric potential to the mask section by providing two conductive terminals on the funnel section to use one for a positive electrode high voltage and the other for earth potential or low potential and by placing resistors between these two terminals to supply the resistor-divided voltage to the mask section. CONSTITUTION:A first mask 8 is connected with a conductive coating 9 formed inside the funnel section through a connector 21 and at the same time is also connected with a screen face 1 through a frame 16 and a pin 17, to which a high voltage for the positive electrode is applied from outside through one button 19 of a funnel section 3. A second mask 7 is led through a lead wire 23 to a part of a resistor 24 which is fixed to an earth magnetic shield 22 by a stationary element 31. This resistor 24 is, at its one end, in contact with and fixed to the earth magnetic shield 22 and, at its other end, contacts the other button 20 provided on the funnel section through a connector 25. The button 20 contacts an outside conductive coating 10 coated on the outer wall of the funnel section 3, presenting an earth potential when the picture tube is operating. |
