PURPOSE:To enable all the printing information to be printed starting from the first part thereof when a paper is supplied, by stopping a printing operation in the condition wherein all the printing information to be printed on a receipt is stored, when the absence of a paper is detected during printing the receipt. CONSTITUTION:When the paper is completely used or broken during printing a part (1) in printing a receipt and a recording paper detector generates a signal indicative of the absence of the paper, printing is stopped in the condition wherein all the information to be printed in the receipt is stored, and after a paper is set, the information is printed starting from the first part thereof. For this purpose, it is necessary to provide the printer with a data buffer (RAM)8 or the like. |
