PURPOSE:To obtain a thermally shrinkable tube with a nearly even thickness by a method wherein before the material tube enters the specified molded pipe, the material is preheated below the melting point, then thermally expanded by using a molding pipe, cooled and taken out. CONSTITUTION:The material tube 1 in which compressed air is always sent is preheated in the preheating tube to a temperature near and lower than the melting point and guided into the forming pipe 4. At the heating section 4-1 the material tube 1 is heated at a temperature exceeding the melting point, expanded so that it is attached to the inside of the tubular section of the forming tape 5 and cooled at the cooling section 4-2. |
