PURPOSE:To attain an extremely thin design of a file medium as well as protection of a recording medium by providing the 1st case storing a disk medium and the 2nd case storing the 1st case and forming a cut opening part to a part of the open/close edge of the 2nd case. CONSTITUTION:An inner card case 20 storing a flexible disk medium is stored into an outer jacket case 10. An end side 14 of the case 10 is opened for free loading/unloading of the case 20; while the other end 12 is closed like a bag. A cut part 40 is formed at the side of the end 12 and therefore a user can hold the inside case 20. The case 20 has a window 23 through which the information can be recorded and reproduced when the case 20 is inserted to a drive. The window 23 is closed tightly by the case 10 to be kept away from the outside air or direct touch of hands. In the same way, a center hold 24 which revolves a disk is also protected by the case 10. In addition, a small and thin design is possible for a card file carrier as a whole.
