PRODUCTION OF OPTICAL DISC FOR RECORDING AND REPRODUCING

PURPOSE:To remove deposits and to maintain the information recorded on an optical disc for recording and reproducing with high quality by forming an adhesive layer on the surface of a disc base plate consisting of the resin on which rugged parts are recorded according to information and stripping the adhesive layer therefrom while subjecting the disc to destaticization. CONSTITUTION:An aq. soln. of a low viscosity prepd. by dissolving PVA in warm water filtered with a powder filter is coated by a spin coating method over the entire surface of a disc base plate 10 formed thereon with rugged parts according to information such as an image or sound, etc. and is then cured to form a cured adhesive layer 15. The formed layer 15 and the plate 10 are physically stripped in the atmosphere of the ion current 17 from a destaticizer 16. Deposits 14 on the surface of the disc base plate can be removed by stripping the layer 15 from the plate 10. The destaticizer 16 generates static electricity to the plate 10 when stripped and prevents resticking of the deposits by the electrostatic effect.
