PURPOSE:To sort copies, group by group, by sending the originals to the side of a platen in order and returning them to the side of an original tray after copying operation. CONSTITUTION:An automatic original feeder feeds originals to the platen automatically to take copies of plural pages of originals set in the original tray and also sort them, and to attain group sorting in which plural copies of each page are taken. When a copying machine is put in sort mode, an RDH (original rotating device) switch on the console panel of the copying machine is pressed, and when a group sort mode is indicated, an ADF (automatic original conveying device) switch is hit. The device feeds originals automatically according to modes specified with those respective switches. A conveyor belt 14 and respective rollers are driven by the same driving device, but may be driven, unit by unit. |
