EXAMPLE:Trans-4-n-Butylcyclohexyl, 4-diamino-2-( p-n-butylphenoxy )anthraquinone-6-carboxylate. USE:A liquid crystal composition capable of exhibiting a high order parameter is liquid crystals and containing anthraquinone based dyestuff compounds capable of assuming violet - blue color. PREPARATION:A protecting group of a compound expressed by formula X is removed with sulfuric acid to give a compound expressed by formula X, which is then esterified with an alcohol expressed by the formula HO-R<3> to afford the aimed compound expressed by formula I .</p> |
