PURPOSE:To improve detecting accuracy, by providing a back pressure detecting sensor for gas jetting at a nozzle, which is connected to pressurized-gas feeding device, and providing a light input part of a luminance detecting sensor toward a gas jetting port from the inside of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A separator 1 for separating and recovering slag, which is attached to a working arm 4, and a suction head 3 for sucking and removing the slag, which is connected to a sucking device 2, are lowered from an upper standby position O. The nozzle 10 of a slag-thickness detecting device 8 is penetrated into a slag 7 under the state gas is jetted from a pressurized-gas feeding device 12 for jetting the gas. The change in back pressure of the jetted gas, when a gas jetting port 9 approaches the upper surface of the slag, is detected by a back pressure sensor 15. The initial position of the upper surface of the slag (a) is detected. The nozzle d10 is further lowered together with the head 3, and the slag 7 is locally exculded. The reaching to the surface of a fused hot liquid is detected by a luminance sensor 16, and a position (b) of the surface of molten metal is detected. |
