PURPOSE:To obtain required dot % simly and positively, by obtaining a specified dot % required for equalizing illuminance by photographing and developing a negative film at a specified density. CONSTITUTION:An original plate for obtaining a printed film for adjusting night lighting, which is applied on the back surface of a dial plate of an indicating instrument, is formed. For this purpose, imbalance in lighting is intactly photographed and developed. The density range of a negative film obtained in this way is specified by the unevenness in lighting and the illuminance to be equalized. Therefore, the required dot % can be obtained by a simple method by photographing and developing the negative film at the density under the conditions, which have been obtained beforehand.
