PURPOSE:To improve the defective supply of casting resin to a tape rubbing surface of a magnetic head in a resin casting process, by impressing a magnetic field to a holding case which injects the synthetic resin containing magnetic powder and supplying the synthetic resin into the holding case together with the magnetic powder. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed amount of magnetic powder 6 is added to the synthetic resin 5 which used for adhesion of a core 2, etc. This resin 5 is poured into a holding case 1. Thus the powder 6 contained in the resin 5 is attracted by a magnet 9 and moved to the side of a tape rubbing surface. The resin 5 is also moved together with the powder 6 toward the surface 1a in accordance with the shift of the powder 6. Unlike a conventional process, the resin 5 is easily supplied into a gap 4 on the surface 1a between the case 1 and the core 2 together with the shift of the powder 6. Thus the gap 4 is completely filled with the resin 5 and the powder 6. This reduces extremely the defective supply of the casting resin to the tape rubbing surface of a magnetic head. |
