PURPOSE:To enhance sensitivity to semiconductor laser beams by using a specified trisazo pigment and a specified carbazole compd. for a laminated type photosensitive body. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charge generating layer contg. a trisazo pigment represented by formula I in which R is represented by formula II, is formed on a conductive substrate. An electrophotographic sensitive body having flat sensitivity in the wavelength region including the whole visible light and semiconductor laser beam wavelength region is obtained by forming on this charge generating layer a charge transfer layer contg. carbazole represented by formula IIIin which R1 is lower alkyl, optionally substd. aryl, or benzyl; R2 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, halogen, nitro, amino, or amino substd. by lower alkyl or benzyl; and n is 1 or 2. |
