PURPOSE:To reduce greatly the waiting time for software processing and to increase the evaluating speed of a ROM by supplying the defective cell information given from a defective cell information collecting part together with the expected value information to discriminate the defective cell information and then displaying a defective cell in accordance with a chip image. CONSTITUTION:An information discriminating part 6 discriminates at a high speed the output information of an expected value information generating part 1 and transfers it to a defective cell display part 5 together with the defective cell information. The part 5 displays in a color and visually only the defective information when the expected value is set at ''1''. On the contrary, only the defective information can be displayed visually when the expected value is ''0'' by discriminatung the defective cell information with a complement of the output information of the part 1. This eliminates the overlap processing applying the software processing and then omits the arithmetic processing using the software. Thus a high-speed evaluation display is possible. |
