PURPOSE:To determine the content of specific vinca alkaloid (PA) in a specimen, by preliminarily fabricating a standard curve by using a specimen known in the content of PA in order to measure the amount of PA in the specimen and comparing the measured value of a specimen unknown in the content of PA with the standard curve. CONSTITUTION:In order to prepare an antibody, a hapten antigen having PA as a hapten is necessary. In this case, antibody-containing serum is obtained by administering the hapten antigen to an animal and collecting the antibody produced by said animal. This antibody-containing serum is added to a mixture of labeled PA and a specimen to perform antigen-antibody reaction and, thereafter, the antigen bonded to the antibody and one not bonded to said antibody are separated. In the next step, the labeling activity of one of the separated two is measured and, by comparing the measured value of the specimen with a standard curve preliminarily formed by using a specimen known in the content of PA, the content of PA in the specimen can be determined. |
