PURPOSE:To set easily optional magnification with small memory capacity by determining the correction amount of position of an optical system for change of magnification by a specific arithmetic expression according to magnification. CONSTITUTION:A copy key 73, magnification setting keys 791-795, an magnification up key 811, and a down key 812 are connected to the input of a main control part 91 which controls the whole copying machine through a data selecto 92, and the operation state of each key is sensed with clock pulses of a pulse generator 93. The magnification is changed by changing the speed ratio of the optical system and an image carrier (photosensitive durm) and correcting the position of the optical system for varying an optical path length ratio. The position correction of the optical system is made by calculating the movement extents of a mirror and a lens by the arithmetic expression stored in a memory and controlling motors 56 and 61 for moving the mirror and lens on the basis of the arithmetic results. |
