PURPOSE:To obtain a force converting mechanism wherein the assembling work of a force converting mechanism is simplified and linear characteristics are substantially imparted between applied external force and the inherent frequency of a vibrator, by forming a force converting mechanism having an integral structure including a vibrator. CONSTITUTION:Links 5, 6, 7, 8 respectively have thin walled bending parts 1b, 2a, 2b, 3b, 3a, 4b, 4a, 1a at both end parts thereof and are formed into an integral structure wherein connection parts 1c, 3c are provided between the bending parts 1a, 1b and 3a, 3b. A central horizontal link 9 is constituted of a force detection vibrator, for example, a tuning fork vibrator 10. The whole of the constitution is supported by the lower side connection part 3c and, when vertical force F is applied to the upper side connection part 1c, tension H=F tantheta is acted on the tuning fork vibrator 10 constituting the central horizontal link vibrator 9. By measuring the inherent frequency of the vibrator increasing with the increase in the tension H, the magnitude of the applied external force F can be determined. |
