PURPOSE:To reduce a loss of electric power and make a large current flowable, by installing a circuit that lets the energy stored in inductance in a discharge circuit feedback to a power circuit during voltage impression. CONSTITUTION:Pulses are inputted into each of transistors T2 and T3, and when these transistors are turned on simultaneously, voltage VG is impressed on a gap between an electrode P and a work W. When discharge is started, the gap voltage VG drops and an electric current flows in the gap. Since no resistance exists in this circuit, generation of heat is very little whereby the current to be produced out of floating inductance is restored to a condenser C of a power circuit 1 so that a large load is not imposed on these transistors.
