PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of copying operation and to form plural pictures by providing plural connecting parts used for an output section and plural connecting parts used for reproducing section to a multi-input/multi-output control section, and connecting a storage section to one of the connecting parts used for the output section and reproduction section. CONSTITUTION:Readers 1, 2 read a picture of an original and each signal line is connected to the multi-input/multi-output controller (MIMOU)3. Printers 5, 6 record the picture through the signal lines from the MIMOU3. A retention memory unit (RMU)4 stores/outputs picture information. The MIMOU3 has the plural reader side connecting parts and printer side connecting parts. One cable is connected to each of both the connecting parts of the RMU4.
