PURPOSE:To take a copy efficiently without performing any unnecessary operation when a final original is copied in composite copy mode by resetting the composite copy mode during final original copying operation and performing normal copying operation when it is decided in composite copy mode that the final original is odd-numbered. CONSTITUTION:When F1='1' (composite copy mode), it is discriminated whether an original to be copied is the final original or not. This decision making operation is performed with the detection signal of the 2nd CPUP 67 which indicates whether there or not is an original on the original platen 11 of an original conveying device ADF 100. When it is decided that the final original is present, it is discriminated by the 2nd CPU 67 whether an original count signal indicates an add number or not. When so, the composite flag F1 is set to '0', namely, a normal copy mode is entered; when a composite copy is taken in ADF mode, the final is copied in normal copy mode. |
