PURPOSE:To decrease the amount of operation by incorporating a demodulator and a roll off filter at the reception side and operating demodulation and waveform shaping at the same time. CONSTITUTION:A reception signal is fed to a real part 101 and an imaginary part 102 of the roll-off filter in common use of demodulator where the demodulator and the roll-off filter are incorporated. The real part 101 and the imaginary part 102 consist each of delay circuits 41-rn, multipliers 51-5n and adders 11, 12 and an operating section 14. Filter coefficients KR1-KRn are read sequentially from an ROM16 by a counter 15 and given to the multipliers 51-5n. The amount of operation and quantized noise are reduced at the same time by setting the coefficients properly.
