PURPOSE:To provide a heating device that heats the food in a best possible condition by automatically measuring the weight of the food and controlling the heating time based on the weight data. CONSTITUTION:When a special tray is placed in a chamber, a resonance is generated in a turned frequency band of a resonance circuit that consists of a loop antenna 30, a coil 31 and a condenser 33 which make up the special tray 25, and the resonance energy so generated emits a signal as indicated by a mark 63 to an amplifier 49 via an antenna 21. This signal is inputted to an exclusive tray detection circuit 51 via a wave detecting and rectifying circuit 50. Then, an exclusive tray initializing circuit 52 memorizes that there is no load on the tray, and inputs a weight measurement permission signal 66 to a weight measurement circuit 53. When the weight measurement permission signal is at the L level, the weight measurement circuit measures the time period from the start of this signal to the start of an output signal 67 of the wave detecting and rectifying circuit 50 under load via the exclusive tray detecting circuit by means of counting the clock from a clock generator 48, which provides the counted number in proportion to the weight of the food. |
