PURPOSE:To save electricity by providing a means for setting a power source of an electronic view finder on or off independently and by causing a current not to run when an electronic view finder is not used. CONSTITUTION:An electronic view finder EVF8 in a storing or carrying position is rotated at 90 deg. in the right direction in respect to a video camera main body 1, and positioned at the place of photographing because the place and a convex part 21a of a stopper 21 are elastically connected to the 1st concave part 15a of a rotational body 15. At this time, a switch 11 becomes on by a pin 20 of the rotational body 15, and a current runs in a CRT display 10, a deflecting high pressure circuit and a video amplifier 9. When the EVF8 is held in the storing or carrying place after photographing, the EVF8 is parallel with the video camera main body 1. Then the pin 20 of the rotational body 15 is separated from the switch 11, which becomes off by its habit, and the current to each circuit is interrupted.
