PURPOSE:To make it possible to switch to either cooling or heating by rotating the main body without changing the flow of refrigerant by cylindrically forming the air conditioner main body in which a compressor, condenser, a vaporizer and a blower are all installed integrally. CONSTITUTION:When cooling, a combination of a vaporizer 6, a ventilating sirocco fan 7 and a front grille 3 faces to the room side 20, and the air flows in the order of front grille vaporizer sirocco fan front grille to supply the cool air to the room. A combination of a compressor 4, condenser 5 and a ventilating fan or sirocco fan 8 faces the outside 21 to release the heat taken away from the room air to the outside of the room. When heating, rotating the main body by half a turn will bring the combination of the condenser 5, compressor 4, etc. to the room side 20, and so, a heat pump effect in which the heat taken from the outside air by the vaporizer 21 on the outside 21 can be utilized for heating in addition to the heat generated by the compressor, etc. |
