<p>The bracket is a semi-rigid plastics moulding, the back of which fits onto a simple metal flange (9), which is secured to a wall or similar structure. One raised edge of the flange slots into a groove (12) on one side of the moulding. The other side (3) of the moulding has a spring arm, separated from the main body, which snaps onto the other raised edge. The switch or other device to be mounted slots into the groove, on the front of the moulding, formed by notches (5) on both sides of the front. The moulding can be disengaged from the flange (9) by using a tool to lever between a projection (14) and the turned out rib on the side (3) of the moulding.</p> |
