PURPOSE:To set a summer time period optionally in any country and update this automatically from the next year by updating set and stored summer time period information every year. CONSTITUTION:Information on the starting date and time of summer time and information on the ending date and time of summer time are stored in the 1st and the 2nd storage means 14 and 15 according to the operation of an input key 13, and the count contents of the hour counter 6 of a time counter 3 are corrected at the set dates through a decision circuit 16 and a correcting circuit 17 to make a change between a summer time display and a normal time display. Even when an update control means 19 incorporating a program for calculating the summer time period of the following year successively responds to the output of a detecting means 18 which detects the output of the counter 3, the contents of the counters 14 and 15 are updated automatically. Consequently, a summer time period is set optionally in any country and updated automatically from the next year. |
