PURPOSE:To diagnose efficiently the operation of a network by installing a control memory so that all input data of a highway are turned back to the output side and collating input-side and output-side signals to be selected with each other. CONSTITUTION:A circuit to be diagnosed is designated, and an audio signal is inputted is to the designated circuit. If the first channel is designated, the audio signal is not only inputted to a serial parallal converting circuit S-P#1 of the first channel CH1 but also inputted to a shift register SR and is stored. Meanwhile, the signal inputted to the circuit S-P#1 is outputted to a parallel serial converting circuit P-S#1 through individual circuits. This output signal is picked up by a selecting circuit SEL-2 and is collated with contents of the register SR by a collating circuit CHCK. Normality or abnormality of the circuit is confirmed in accordance with coincidence or disaccord as the collation result. |
