PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of the whole network and find trouble speedily by composing a bus of a looped bus and an opposite-directional additional bus, and extracting information from the additional bus and inserting information into the additional bus. CONSTITUTION:The communication network is put in operation by nodes (A00, A01...A0n) through the looped bus B0, and if trouble occurs in this system, the operation of the communication network is restarted by nodes (A10, A11...A1n) through the other system looped bus B1. When the trouble point is searched for, information is transferred from the transmission part S00 of the node A00 to the node A01 through the looped bus B0. When said information is detected normally, the transmission part S01 of the node A01 is connected to the additional bus C by an additional bus information inserting device E1, and the information is reported to the node A00. The node A00 receives the information from the additional bus C by an additional bus information extracting device D and a reception part R00 to detect whether the state of the node A01 is normal or not. Similarly, nodes (A02, A03...A0n) are checked to detect the position of the trouble in this system. |
