摘要

PURPOSE:To concurrently offer the sound insulation effect and heat radiation effect and invariably maintain the engine performance constant while insulating the sound by providing multiple expansion spaces and orifice holes on a sound insulating wall. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 2 and a fan 3 stirring the interior of an engine room are directly connected to an engine 1. Expansion spaces 5 and small holes 6 are provided on a cover 4 shielding the eigine room. In addition, the sound insulation quantity becomes larger as S1'/S1 is larger or the value of (n) is larger, where S1-Sn are cross sections of the small holes 6 and S1'-Sn' are cross sections of the expansion spaces 5. Accordingly, the sound insulation effect of the cover 4 is increased and the heat can be radiated outside, thus the performance of the engine 1 can be invariably maintained constant.
