PURPOSE:To feed fuel rapidly into a carburetor even after an engine is stopped for a long time by connecting a reserve tank, which is positioned higher than a carburetor and a fuel pump, between a fuel tank and said fuel pump, and providing the outlet port of the reserve tank in a lower position than its inlet port. CONSTITUTION:In a jet ski, etc. with a shallow vessel bottom, the carburetor 2 of an engine 1 is installed in a higher position than the fuel level of a fuel tank 3, and the fuel is fed into the carburetor 2 by means of the suction of a fuel pump 4. In this case, a reserve tank 9 is connected bwteeen the fuel tank 3 and the fuel pump 4, in a position higher than the positions of the carburetor 2 and the fuel pump 4. The inlet port 10 of the reserve tank 9 is formed in a position corresponding to the highest level C of the fuel level, while its outlet ports are formed in two places 11, 12, with difference in height being provided between them, in positions lower than the highest position C, and connected to a selector cock 13. Thereby, fuel can be rapidly fed into the carburetor 2 even after the engine 1 is left stopped for a long time.
