<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a defect in adhesion completely by providing a noncontacting type level gauge which measures the height of the adhesive liquid level in a service tank and a counter which counts the number of veneers passing through a spreader. CONSTITUTION:The automatic measuring and displaying device for the amount of coating has a noncontacting type level gauge 1 provided so as to sense and measure the height of the liquid level of the adhesive in a service tank 5, and this level gauge 1 is equipped with mechanism which senses the height of the liquid level by using an ultrasonic wave, etc., normally. This device is provided with a counter 2 which measures the number of adhesive coated bodies such as a veneer passed through the spreader to count the number of veneers 7 passed through a spreader 6 while the height of the liquid level decreases from (a) to (b), and a computing element 3 is connected thereto. Therefore, the coating amount of the adhesive is measured accurately and a defect in adhesion is prevented completely.</p> |
