PURPOSE:To adjust the length of a rotary shaft easily and certainly by gearing a thrust collar with the rotary shaft and raising and lowering the rotary shaft by revolving the thrust collar, in a shaft-length adjuster for a drainage pump, etc. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 1 is allowed to penetrate through a bearing case 2, and a male screw 3 is cut onto the upper-part outer periphery, and a thrust collar 5 having the female screw 4 geared with the male screw is geared. Said thrust collar 5 is geared to support a main thrust bearing 6 and an auxiliary thrust plate 12, and a hole 19 is formed onto the annular cover 17 installation part of the thrust collar 5, and a lever is inserted into the hole 19, and the rotary shaft 1 is raised and lowered by revolving the thrust collar 5. Therefore, the length of the rotary shaft can be adjusted easily and certainly, and further minute adjustment is permitted, and therefore, easy adjustment in installation of a drainage pump, etc. is permitted.
