PURPOSE:To prevent exfoliation of multi-layer hardface weld zone and to improve wear proof property by executing multi-layer hardface welding changing speed of rotation of a cylindrical body and welding current etc. at a fixed time period and changing the width of weld bead alternately. CONSTITUTION:In multi-layer hardface welding of a cylindrical body such as a roll etc. for roller mill of a pulverized coal burner, welding condition such as speed of rotation of the cylindrical body and welding current etc. is changed at a fixed time period, and the width of weld bead 2 is changed alternately and repeatedly. In this way, weld cracks 1 are generated positively in a part where the width of weld bead 2 is small, and continued periodically. Thus, a roll etc. high in quality and wear proof is obtained preventing exfoliation of multi-layer hardface weld zone and improving wear proof property. |
