PURPOSE:To confirm the erasure range of an original accurately by turning on or flashing a spot light source, for example, at the start of display operation while stopping the light source at a display start position within the erasure range of the original, and then turning off and moving the spot light source along the erasure range. CONSTITUTION:When operation keys 3t and 3y are pushed, a motor 33 is driven to move the 1st carriage 411 and spot light source 131 in a scanning direction (as shown by an arrow y). When operation keys 3s and 3u are pushed, a motor 135 is driven to move the spot light source 131 at right angles to the scanning direction (as shown by an arrow x). An operator operates the operation keys 3a-3v over a look at spot light transmitted through the original G and presses a position specifying key 3w, for example, while the spot light is moved to a point S1 on the original G, so that the coordinate position specified at the point S1 is stored in a main processor group 71. Similarly, rectangular area (hatched) having points S1 and S2 as diagonal points is specified as the erasure range. |
