The miller includes a mount (10), a fixed support (11) carrying a square-slide (12). This square-slide serves as support for a base (17) sliding in a horizontal direction and for a cross-slide (20) sliding vertically. The base (17) carries a spindle (18) intended to receive the part to be machined (19), whilst the cross-slide (20) carries the headstock (21) intended to receive a clamp (22) enabling a tool to be fixed. The tool and the part to be machined have interchangeable positions. The base (17) also carries a tailstock (31) equipped with an indexing rod (34). <IMAGE>
