PURPOSE:To obtain picture information such as resident place or map or the like of a called party by providing a device receiving picture information in parallel with a caller. CONSTITUTION:When a caller 1 dials a special number to request a picture service for obtaining map information of a called party 2, the caller 1 and a picture trunk 6 are connected. After the caller 1 confirms the 2nd dial tone, when the caller 1 dials the telephone number of the called party 2, a picture information transmitter 7 is connected to the caller 1 via a network 4. Thus, a relay 72 of the transmitter 7 is actuated and a specific frequency is transmitted from a transducer 71, it is received by a receiver 31 of a picture information receiver 3 and a contact 31a is closed. Moreover, a relay 73 is actuated by a signal from a central controller and the picture information such as resident place or map information of the called party is transmitted from a picture transmission circuit 74 to a picture receiving circuit 32. |
