PURPOSE:To attain communication between data processing units having different protocol by placing a protocol converter between the data processing units having different protocol. CONSTITUTION:The protocol converter 10 is placed between the 1st and 2nd data processing units 1, 2 having different protocol. Communication is conducted by using, e.g., the TTY procedure between the processing unit 1 and the converter 10 and, e.g., the basic data transmission procedure between the converter 10 and the processing unit 2. The converter 10 has the converting function between the TTY procedure and the basic data transmission procedure. |
