PURPOSE:To reduce considerably the process for production and to improve working efficiency by operating melting of a metal and holding of the molten metal with one furnace and performing the temp. control for forming and feeding with a piping installation for the molten metal. CONSTITUTION:Melting of a raw material metal and refining of the molten metal by a filter as well as venting of gas to form dense structure are thoroughly executed in a melting furnace 1. Installation of a piping for feeding of the molten metal is started from near the bottom of the furnace 1. A refractory material having the high resistance to penetration and erosion of the molten metal is used to install the piping. The solidification of the molten metal can be prevented as far as the outside is insulated during the flow for transfer but the outside of the piping is completely wrapped with heaters and further the outside thereof is thoroughly clad with a heat insulating material in order to retain the temp. in the even of flow stoppage or at the weekend shutdown. Stop valves 5... are also made of the refractory material and are provided internally with thermocouples. A control panel 9 for temp. control is provided to measure the temp. and to conduct electricity to the heaters so as to maintain the prescribed temp. The solidification of the molten metal is thus prevented. |
