[Also in Division F2] A false twist spindle 2 is magnetically urged into engagement with rollers 3, 4, of which roller 3 is driven from a belt 9 common to a row of spindles either as shown through an intermediate roller 6 or as in Fig. 2 not shown, directly. Rollers 3, 4 and spindle 2 are movable to bring roller 3 into engagement with belt 9 when roller 6 has been removed. Thus the direction of rotation of spindle 2 may be selected.</p> |
