These means are of the type comprising an internal spring 6 working in traction. They comprise two identical tubular sleeves 3, 4 placed symmetrically and coaxially with respect to each other, each one of which has a portion 3a, 4a of external diameter substantially equal to that of the tubular elements 2a, 2b to be articulated to each other, and the other portion 3b, 4b of which of smaller diameter, is intended to be engaged in the adjacent end of the corresponding tubular element 2a, 2b and fixed to it by any suitable means such as by wedging, bonding, welding or the like, each sleeve 3, 4 having internal means for anchoring the internal spring 6, whilst an intermediate ring 12, interposed between the internal spring 6 and the coaxial sleeves 3, 4, so as to serve as a guide for the spring and for the sleeves, has an external shoulder 13 interposed between the facing ends of the two sleeves 3, 4 for which it is intended to act as a bearing and as a spacer. <IMAGE>
