A reduction unit of a drilling motor comprises a casing (1), input and output shafts (6, 8) with spherical bearings (11), and a 2-stage epicyclic reduction gear (4) in an oil-filled chamber (A) delimited by seals (7, 9) protected against contact with the drilling fluid, by buffer fluid in divided spaces (B, C). The first stage of the reduction gear has friction elements (28, 32, 30) to eliminate torque fluctuations and the second state has toothed elements (29, 33, 31) of which planets (33) are mounted in sleeves with convex external surfaces eliminating overloading of the gear. <IMAGE> |
